You can never love your children too much or be too sure about their health and safety. That’s why North Central Baptist Hospital has a separate emergency room for children, equipped with a fast-track area when it’s not so serious, and a team of nurses and doctors board-certified in pediatric emergency medicine when it is.

Fast Track Area
Our fast-track area is designed to get you and your child in and out of the emergency room as quickly as possible. Wait times for the fast-track area are shorter than average, plus parents have peace-of-mind knowing that a physician board-certified in pediatric medicine and experienced nurses are there to help.

North Central Baptist Hospital’s pediatric services do not end with the children’s emergency room. Our pediatric intensive care unit is staffed by some of the best nurses and physicians in the region, and our inpatient pediatric services offer care to children from birth to age 16. Together, these services make up the Baptist Regional Children’s Center.

When your child is sick or hurting, even a simple illness or injury can feel like an emergency. After 10 years of serving the children of North Central San Antonio and beyond, we’ve found that parents have great instincts.
