We understand there are many factors that may delay or prevent the healing of your wounds. With this in mind, our wound care team performs a complete history and physical exam which allows us to develop an individualized treatment plan unique to each patient’s needs.
The Wound Healing Center at Baptist Medical Center offers a state-of-the-art facility that is complemented by a highly trained staff of interdisciplinary medical professionals.
Under the direction of physicians specially trained in wound care and hyperbaric medicine are skilled wound care nurses and experienced hyperbaric technicians. Each member has undergone extensive training in wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy and chamber operations.
Equally important to the training and expertise is our commitment to providing compassionate care and support to every one of our patients.
Physicians are members of the medical staff at one or more of Baptist Health System's affiliated hospitals. However, these physicians are independent contractors who are neither employees nor agents of those hospitals or of Baptist Health System and, as a result, none of these hospitals nor Baptist Health System is responsible for the acts of these physicians in their medical practices.
