Driving Health Forward
This summer Baptist Health System, in partnership with the BCFS is excited to launch a Mobile Health Unit that will offer free community health screenings in San Antonio and the surrounding neighborhoods. Baptist will work to “Drive Health Forward” and grow the community screenings currently offered by making basic health services more accessible.
The unit is staffed by a Registered Nurse and a driver, and staffing may also include additional health professionals depending on the event. Screenings will be offered at community health and wellness fairs, senior centers, corporate wellness events, churches, school events, community centers, retail or hospital parking lots, etc. See the

Basic free screenings include:
- Cholesterol
- Glucose
- Blood pressure
- Body Mass Index
- Risk assessments for heart disease, stroke, diabetes
